World of Warcraft loot card probability?

If I buy, say, 3 world of Warcraft trading card game booster packs, what is the probability of getting a loot card? I knw there are some great items I can get for my online account and am very interested in getting a new mount or pet or something. What is the nest way to get loot cards?
