Distance between Frankfurt Germany to Garmisch-Partenkirchen?

I am travelling from Asia to Germany, landing at Frankfurt airport, will take a train all the way to Garmisch, can anyone inform us how far is Frankfurt to Munich and then to Garmisch. Is there a direct train from Frankfurt to Garmisch ? How much will it cost and does anyone know a good English language website on train schedule in Germany ?
