How do i stop ground water from entering my well during a rain storm?

I have six inch drilled well use a softener system but after a hard rain i have lots of sediment come in my system. I am concerned the well is not grouted properly. Can I re grout the well now? the well is ten years old and to no surprise the original well driller was forced out of business.
